Our Story
Singing from the heart, straight to yours.
Some of my earliest recollections are alive in the echoes of music, be it singing at school, lending my voice to church choirs, or humming old tunes in quiet moments. I grew up in an Anglo-Indian family in the hills of Ooty, and music was always around – the very fabric that held people together. Whether there was a small party or just a couple of friends, someone would always say, “Sing us something,” and I would oblige. And for real? I loved it….That passion for music only intensified with time.
At boarding school, amidst sports and mischief, I learned how much I loved singing—not only for myself, but for the effect it had on others. To make others smile, sway, or even just close their eyes when a familiar tune fills the air—that’s special. That’s what continues to drive me.
These days, music is my solace. It is my way of unwinding, of grounding myself; it helps me breathe. Whether it’s an old favourite or a stirring country ballad, I sing because it fills me with peace, and I sing because it brings others joy.
Country Crusader is where I share this aspect of me with you—the aspect that clings to the raw joy that a good song can evoke and the love it can provide. From soulful covers to spontaneous fireside sing-alongs, this is my platform for the music that has shaped me and continues to touch my heart.
So if a song brings back a memory, makes you tap your foot, or just lightens your day, I’ve done what I set out to do.
Let’s keep the music playing. Always.
